I'm trying to find out the bmw paint name or paint code with only the vin. Arabic numerals are used together with the latin letters except q, o and i because they are easily confused with zero and 1. In the lower right corner there should be three to four numbers or a letter and two to three numbers indicating the paint code.

Fortunately, bmw vins have interior and exterior paint information available from the vin decoders, for the most part.
