The original washable paper had a glaze over it to give it the washable qualities.but i really doubt if its that type these days. You can only repaint 1 time after the first one, then you have to remove the paper. Stick down any loose wallpaper before washing the walls with a mild detergent, rinse with clean water and let them dry thoroughly.
